Ah, the "drive you mad" bird! That is another one of the things that I dont miss! We had one that found our neighbourhood in the last 10 years or so and summer was a nightmare with the bloody thing starting calling at midnight - talk about the Chinese Water Torture! My sympathies! Somehow the occasional cooing pigeon or squawking pheasant just pales into insignificance!
Yes, they are a tad repetitive aren't they.
