Default Kitchen knives and stuff!

movers in monday last couple of questions,will we be all right taking kitchen knives and stuff in our luggage,we fly out in a couple of weeks so just tying up loose ends and things,

Should be alright in your hand baggage... only joking! Put it in your suitcase to go in the hold, otherwise you'll get in trouble!

I would strongly advise against ,placing knives in your luggage , unless they are in a sealed container. If a baggage handler or Customs officer is injured by protruding blades ,you could be subject to legal Action......... MM

OK - daft question?

Why are you taking kitchen knives in luggage?

My really expensive set went with packers and they are here now ok. Unless you are a chef and cannot live without them, why bother? But then again I got attached to fairly daft things (to most people) and bought them in my luggage cause I could not live without them for six weeks. If the knives come in a wooden block, wrap them up in the block.
