Couldn't agree more - on our looksee we went every afternoon for an hour or so the kids could let off some steam and OH and me could sit back and relax.

What it does it for me:
1. Fantastic facilities for kids - mine love the rope climbing thing.
2. The fact that with two minutes walk you can be in bushland
3. Tha fact that with two minutes walk you can be completely alone
4. the memorials to the fallen dotted all around the place (spent some time down the avenue dedicated to the fallen in Borneo today ("and what does this one say Daddy?!"))
5. the great coffee at the cafes.
6. the great views.
7. Cheap!!

WE love Kings Park.We can be there in 20 minutes.If we pack some food and some beer we can have a really cheap day out.We normally go to the dinosaur bit with the fountains and near the cafe.Beautiful scenery and safe for the kids.We have to drag them away.x Irishbloo
