kinds of work in OZ

hi, can anyone tell me if there is a need for IT tutors who teach adults,ie: how to use a computer or English and maths. At the moment i am an IT tutor teaching adults in the above area. My Hubby is an electrician but is fast approaching the 45 year age limit. As i am 6 years younger than him i am thinking of re-training to meet the skills shortage just i case he gets refused a visa. I am interested in working with Youth Offenders, homeless young adults or some sort of care work. (although not geriatric care work as I've had enough of that sort of work) Any ideas?
I am qualified to level 3 in IT but i am not technical at all so networking would be no good, i don't have any managerial quals either just basic skills quals.

I am pretty sure my hubby will be accepted but as we have only just started getting references (waited 3 weeks already for replies) for his TRA, i feel we may have left it a little too late
