I have one concern though due to massive IT unemployment
in Australia as reported in Australian NewsPapers
So my questions are :-
1.how much are the odds of DIMA increasing the passmark to 120 ?
OR
2.how much are the odds of DIMA relegating the IT skillset from now 60 points to 50 or 40 points or even removing it from SOL?
If DIMA does either of point 1 or point 2 ,will it apply for all pending applications which are un assessed and has this kind of incident( to control no of immigrants) been repeated earlier as well ?

No-one other than top people running the skilled program knows the answer to this.
Certainly no-one on this NG.

Again, no-one knows.
They have the legal right to apply any change to applications already in the system.

When the pass mark went up in May 2002, they chose not to make it retrospective on
that occasion. Whether they would do so again or not
- nobody knows. The previous time the pass mark went up was in 1996 (under the pre
1999 system) and it was retrospective.
