Some private schools may offer you age concession but if your daughter is gong into the free government school system, she will have to wait. You will have to find her a pre-school program, usually attached to your local school and places can be hard to get, but you may jag one.
Good luck.

Your daughter will be entitled to go into a pre-primary programme, which is full-time, the same number of hours as Year 1 onwards.
Sometimes you can't get into your local school where your child will be doing Year 1 and you are not meant to apply for kindy/PP at more than one school (some parents do and if found out, may be put at the bottom of the list for places). In your situation, if you have an idea of which suburbs you would like to live in, you should contact the schools or look online to apply for a PP place now. You also might find that a school is prepared to put her into Year 1, if they consider her ready.

At our school they are still taking enrolments until the end of Term 3, almost upon us. Some people enrol later, though, and still get places. Some people change their minds and then a place is made available to someone else on the waiting list. It does vary a lot, depending on the demographics, so areas with large numbers of families with young kids will fill their places sooner. One day, maybe the Ed Dept here will look at the birth rate and the number of migrants and provide enough places in areas where people live.
