Default Kids Health and teeth

I know that adults have to pay the gap for doctors and hospitals but does this apply to children also, or is theirs free?

Also dentists, do kids pay or is it free until a certain age?

Thanks

My kids have recently seen the school dentist, only get seen once a year here, but the examination was much more thorough than any they had back in the UK and they all came out with sparkling clean teeth after the descaling and polish - and it didn't cost me anything!

Why their school rewards good work/behaviour with sweeties though is beyond me, hardly helps to promote their own dentist's good work, does it?

Check ups and clean for kids is free , ask about braces or what is called cosmetic treatment and then stand back , one of my work mates just parted with $1500 for a minor job on his little girl.
By the way I am old enough to remember school dentists in the UK not the best, its because they know that many here are afriad to go to a private practise because of the cost.
