Kids Eat Crocodile!!!
And Kangaroo!!! :scared:
Jan & I were passing a small butchers shop in Chester yesterday when we spotted some unusual meats in thier chiller cabinet. They had amongst other things, Crocodile and Kangaroo steak, Ostrich, Bison & Buffalo. Being the inquisitive types, we thought we might like to try some so sticking to an Ozzy theme we bought some Croc and Kangaroo! Travelling home we decided we would cook the meats for dinner and present them to the kids without mentioning what they were. So this we did and guess what, they loved them. Well they did the Kangaroo, the Croc steak was too fatty for them but they did try it. Even after we told them what they had just eaten they said "Dont care it was lovely, is there any more Kangaroo"! We all had a great time over dinner and the conversation inevitably turned to our forthcoming adventures in Oz, (fingers crossed)!:) |
