Default Karate etc in Bayside

Can anyone please recommend a good martial arts instructor in the Bayside area.

I need to get my 9 year old some training so I need them to be good with kids

Seen a few advertised but was hoping for a recommendation.

Thanks

A girl across the road used to go to the one behind the VP YMCA, and seemed pretty happy with them. She went there regularly for a few years.

The reservation I have with GKR is their system of allowing non-black belt members start their own dojos and become senseis. This is not how most other karate clubs operate. At the end of the day, if the sensei provides a level of care and attention to their students then all should be ok.
