Does anyone have any idea what Kalamunda is like and prices of properties?
How far to beach?

kalamunda is a very nice area. It is situated in the hills about 20km from perth. The house prices are generally a little cheaper in the hill suburbs, the majority of the nice properties in Kalamunda have pools as it is a fair distance from the beach, about 20km i reckon. There are good amenities in the town including a very nice pub and a good chinese takeaway, the malt beer in the pub does the job after a couple of pints(forgot the name, probably too many pints). you have great walks around kalamunda and a short drive to mundarin weir for picnics etc. go to aussiemove.com to check out the suburb profiles and go to proerty.com.au to search for house prices in kalamunda
