If anyone has moved from similarly named place uk to australia.
Such as: Perth Scotland to Perth WA
or Rochdale to Rochedale
etc etc

It's a dump!
It's one of Brisbane City's landfill sites. Houses range from ordinary to $$$$ on acreage. Large old farming tracts are earmarked for housing. Proximity to Gateway Motorway and city (compared with other new estates) will make it fairly desirable.

Rochedale is quite nice.
There are some enormous homes, and some great blocks of land. Its proximity to gateway, and back route to bayside, will make it a boom area.

Now im in newcastle nsw which is close to cardiff and swansea which are cities to the east and west of barry in s wales (uk)
then of course, Im from south wales and moved to new south wales

We were talking about this yesterday - family go to church - & nephew goes to school - in Redcliffe, Bristol, while The Bloke has family we see often in Redcliffe, Qld, and we got married there too.
