just thought i would share this with you
we had a discussion with our boys aged 11 and 8 about moving to oz. they loved the idea. my eldest son immediately got out the crocodile dunee, steve irwin and kangaroo jack films and started talking in a fake australian (slightly cockney) accent shortly followed by my youngest son. after a few hours of enduring this torture i asked them why they were talking in an australian accent - they replied that they would have to learn to speak australian otherwise the locals wouldnt understand them!!!!!!! BLESS.
