Just Starting
Can anyone help two novices that are struggling to get started on the road to Oz.
We have completed a couple of free questionaires to see whether we are eligable for a permanent visa's and have not qualified. We are hearing alot about immigration lawyers/companies that claim to enhance the chance of success, but have not been able to find anyone who has had experience of such organisations. We would welcome any advice or suggestions from those of you who have experienced the visa application process. Is there a proven method that can be used to increase the chance of acceptance? Is it worth paying for immigration experts or should we go alone? |

Hi Paul and Michele,
As the previous posting stated you can get a lot of good information by searching this forum. Also check out the Immigration Forum. This site is very fortunate to have the participation of a few registered migration agents (Alan Collet & George Lombard to name two that come to mind) The more information you feel you can post the greater the chance that someone will be able to help. for example: 1 Why did the questionarie say you had failed? 2 What type of visa did you have in mind? 3 Who long have you worked in current proffession? It may well be that you were trying for skilled independant visa and could not meet the criteria for length of time in employment. Whatever the reason if you post a few more details I am sure someone here will be able to help. Good luck Bill (Sindys Husband) |
