We have some cracking adverts here, you just won't believe some of the stuff they come out with. Much more entertaining than programmes.

Have you seen the fosters ads? They are great

2 recent ones....

The bungee jump....just bungees over water, and when he hits the surface a croc bites his head off. The aussie commentator just says "crikey es gonna feel that in the morning" !!

The other one....a Steve Irwin lookalike is talking about danerous animals in oz, when a pelican sneaks up behind him and bites his head off

Anyone else find these funny?
Or am i warped ???

Yeah, snap. What about some of the Australians couldn't give a four ex for ads?

eg the 2 guys in the ute crossing the rickety bridge with the wife sitting in the back on a pile of cans of ****. Something's got to give. Cut to the ute driving along minus the missus and one ocker says to the other 'she's a good sport that wife of yours

Or the guy who would have his way with his best mate's wife/partner but wouldn't dream of drinking his ****.

I've mentioned elsewhere the old Fosters ad with Paul Hogan which used to crack me up - nice English village with Morris dancers, pom says to Hoges 'that's Morris dancing', Hoges takes a swig and asks 'which one is Maurice?'

Another 2 XXXX ones

Woman skpping along, sees a frog, kisses it and it turns into a good looking sheep shearer. He then kisses her and she turns into a can of XXXX.

3 guys filling a ute up for a fishing trip. Its got about 100 slabs of XXXX on it, and they are stacked about 6 foot high on the tray. They then stick one bottle of sherry on the top, and the suspension gives out and the ute sinks to the ground. One of the blokes turns to the others and says "Looks like we overdid the sheilas booze guys".

No, (serious note) they de-regulated advertising and don't lay down as stringent conditions as in the UK about the number of minutes per hour on which ads can be shown. So I guess it is market pressures - if the viewers find the ads more entertaining they get more ads

I noticed the prices were still higher than everyone elses. 5p a minute but you also have to pay an extra £1 rental a month charge on top!
