Hi Rob, welcome. Our application was approved in February before all the changes so don't know if the same applies now but we only sent the original references we didn't get them certified (remember to make some copies for your own reference)

Yes you can send originals :D

Try to get them to print off a few copies though as you will more than likely need them again. They are also good when you're looking for work over here ;)
