Default Just Recieved....

A bill from the Queensland Ambulance service for $800.. :scared:
My Husband collapsed on the beach on our last day, lifeguards called ambulance and took him to hospital.
He was allowed home later that day, won`t be doin that again in a hurry!!

Will your travel insurance cover it, worth checking.

If you live in qld renting or owning the leccy bill has a levy (ambulance insurance) on it to cover ambulance, check with each state, other methods are through private insurance or an ambulance fund.

Queenslands levy is paid on every lec bill, so if you own a business/office plus your home and say a rental like a holiday home where you pay the bill you pay it 3 times

Yes, we never even thought about the bill for the ambulance, it was a real shock when it happened, so was more concerned about getting him well again.
Going to phone insurance company tomorrow fingers crossed.
