Just a quickie!

We are Flying out to Perth on Feb 16th for a Holiday/Reccie:eek:

For this reason, we have to Validate our Visa's before Feb 27th.
Can anyone tell me what happens at Perth airport regarding Imagration control.

Is this the port of call where the Visa's will get stamped?

Many thanks.

Read your ticket, as it should say where the flight is destined for. You will have to go through immigration there.
You front the non-Australian desk, the officer asks you some questions, and if they are satisfied they put a stamp in you passport, just like us foreigners have to do in the UK.;)

And it's all such an anticlimax. They ought to get some locals to wait with garlands of banksias (and a bottle of Crown and jar of Vegimite) for us new immigrants, somthing like arriving in Hawaii......

haha! or ouch!

You'll get a form to fill out on the plane too, just tick which boxes that apply and then you basically go to the non-citizens queue and immigration check your passport/visa and your little form.. they should then stamp your passport (make sure that they do this as you'll need it as proof of entry to Aus) and bobs your uncle....
