Hi all,

Is it just me or is packing and trying to sort everything out an absolute nightmare? It's doing my head in and I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

Please tell me its not just me!!!

Not got there yet Pott,still clearing junk.

When I pack, I'm going to clear a room and keep it just with stuff we are taking in our luggage so I can see how much. Everything else in the house is then the removers job..

Sounds simple but its going to be chaos, I know it...

Have you sold your house? Did it sell quickly - we`ve got ours on the market - a few viewings but a bit slow at the moment.

Hi Jacko,
Sold after about 8 viewings and 6 weeks, it was much slower than we expected and we dropped the original asking price for easter.

All going through we hope, complete end June agreed..

It's not just you Mash - it is so hard to decide what to take and what you can do without seeing ever again. I left a lot of stuff behind that I should have brought over, and brought stuff that really was superfluous.

It's not only the packing, it's finalising everything and shutting accounts down, leaving enough money with somone to clear any bills that arrive after you leave, saying goodbye to everyone you know.........it's complete nightmare to do. I wouldn't ever want to have to do it again.
