Just got my Australian citizenship!
 

I applied Feb 28th. It took 1 week from when they received my Fedex. I applied for citizenship by decent through Australian High Commission in Ottawa Canada. But I just received the Fedex with my citizenship certificate back from them today.

Just thought I'd share in case anyone was interested in how long it takes via Canada.

It's important to note that you applied for citizenship by descent, which is not usually how most of us get it.

Thanks for sharing though, I'm sure someone will be interested in that because I haven't seen a timeline posted before. I just wanted to make the distinction though so the rest of us don't get confused.
