Well to our time zone anyway :scared: :scared:

go back from the goldcoast yesterday 2pm. woke up this morning about 4:30 am, but slowly comming round.

Sent off our main application b4 we went they recieved it 17th july. found a letter in the post when we got back dated 6th august requesting medicals and police checks!!!!

Hi there,

What a nice suprise for you, I know the feeling when you get home after visting Oz, I didn`t want to come home!!
We sent our application to DIMIA on the 25th Aug, they have took the money from our bank already so I am keeping everything crossed!

Well finally over the jet lag, But must say we are feeling very stressed

house as only just gone on the market and they are going to be reqeusting
the bond money in the next month or 2 (does anyone know how long they give u) have decided to borrow it on the mortgage just in case we dont sell it in time . got medicals on thursday and just sent off for the police checks,
its all happening a bit to fast we only sent the main application off in july ? or agents received a letter from dimma on 2 august and they give us till the 28 august to get everything back to oz , unfortunatly we had been in oz all august, so u can imagine or suprise whhen we openend the letter :scared: have been like headless chickens since.

Anyway back lets get back to what we thought about the goldcoast.

arundel , robina, runaway bay,sorrento, are just a few of the places we really liked . We also did a bit of traveling and i loved the sunhine coast . mooloolaba was beautiful as was noosa heads, went up to hervybay and booked an over night stay at lady elliot island it was fantastic , didnt really enjoy the flight to the island sh..t my self it was a small 12 seater plane , very scary , The snorkelling was an experience we wont forget and the island was beautiful.

When we have sorted the pics out will try and get them on the pc.
if anyone wants to know anything just ask and will reply as soon as we can

First off ,Don't stress...
We had the exact same thing happen to us with regards to us being in OZ (Gold coast/Sunshine Coast & we went to Mooloolaba too as it happens) and the Med/PCC requests being in the letter box at home, they must have been delivered the day after we flew out for four weeks.

Anyway, We emailed the case officer & briefly explained the situation, politely asked for a slight extension on the deadline for document returns. An email came back next day giving us another 4 weeks. No big deal and didn't slow the process down any. Well we got the visas through and are flying in about 3 weeks time..
