Junior Hockey QLD
We will be moving to Sunshine coast at the end of the year(fingers crossed) and we have a almost 15,13 and 7 year old boys who love their hockey.Is this sport popular in Australia and if so are there any clubs in say Mooloolaba,Maroochydore Sippy Downs areas suitable for their age groups?

Can't comment on those areas in detail but when we were in Cairns last year we saw the teams out practicing at 6 am (before heat kicks in I guess
) but down here hockey is really popular with Rookies through to Senior teams all being well represented with some great projects in place to keep new people coming on board.
I hadn't played hockey for
too long and it's been a great sport to re-join although how I ended up as President of the club I don't know - it's not my sporting skills - maybe it's the after training drinks capacity!
