Joondalup- housing
hey all,
I'm currently a Volunteer police cadet with North Wales Police and am aiming to become a WApol cadet (any one else from NWP here ?). Any way I need accommodation for the first few months, the problem lies with my age being 17 it means I cant take out a lease, so a house/flat share is the only option any one know of any going in the Joondalup area? at the moment this is my biggest problem. Recruitment is set to close soon so I'm aiming to be over September time *hopes*.
Cheers for any help.

Hi & welcome to BE. Have you tried posting in the Police area of the forum? When we were looking at houses in the Carramar & Tapping areas (just outside Joondalup) every other house seemed to have a room rented to a copper! Try the other forum, but failing that, PM me - I have a friend who might be able to help.

Contact the Recruitment folks at the Police Academy in Joondalup, they can give you details on rooms that people have for rent (there's loads on their intranet).

I'm very interested to know what kind of visa you have, as i believe you need 3 years frontline experience to apply for WAPOL.
I presume you're going out on some other visa and hoping to apply from there?????
Whatever the case is ........kudos to you for going from N Wales to WA....big jump......
Hope it work out and if it does then you are a lucky so and so......ha ha
