Joining Medicare from the Uk
Hi,
Has anyone joined the medicare system from the UK in advance of arriving in Australia so that the card is waiting when you arrive? Just wondered if it's possible as it would be one less thing to worry about after arriving. We picked up the form whilst validating our visas last year.

Even if you have to see a doctor the day you get there you can still register for your Medicare card afterwards and get your refund.
