Default joiner looking for sponsor

with the new age limit going up to 55 years, my partner is a young 52 year old.
he has passed his TRA, now he is looking for a sponsor but is has to be regional outside a major capital city.
we have been looking at Qld, and WA, if anyone out in a regional area wants a good shop fitting joiner, with good references, please could you let us know,
or if anyone has any tips .

Is the age limit going up?
Is this for PR or just sponsorship? Interested to know for relatives who may fancy a move to OZ.

Not for general skilled migration. What I think they mean is that on some types of visa the age requirement is lifted in some circumstances, obviously the older you are the harder it is. Take a look at the ENS and RSMS visa's (not sure if there is more) although there will be totally different ones from September 1st so probably best looking at them really.
