Latham and his bizzare notions that Aus can survive without Asia/America
etc that guy is weird. The mans a thug can you imagine him in

The polls
seem to indicate what you are saying. Latham had a honeymoon period but
as you say has u-turned on a number of points and certainly toned down
his description of Howard as a "Bush arse licker". The polls are now
back in Howards favour.

As long as rates stay on hold I predict Howard
will get it in an October election. The pre-election spending pledges by
both parties are predicted to bring on an inevitable increase in
interest rates and taxes.

Personally (if I could)I would vote for an
independant, democrat or green for the moderating influence they they on
the law creation process. Sadly in election build up time they cannot
moderate the destructive slanging between Liberals and Labour.

I found something during my travels and found it quite funny. Always good to have a bit of a laugh during an election (especially if its at the expense of a politician!)
