Jobs in Oz
 

Hi all,

My wife and I are looking to come out to Oz next year (pending EOI and visa acceptance). However does anyone have any advice on job hunting?

Is it best to look beforehand? If so, are there any job site recommendations? I know interviewing will be an issue, but I suppose with Skype etc this might not be as big an issue as in the past?

I'm a Marketing Manager and my wife is a registered Nurse. We have the possibility of my wife working for her company in Oz, but with me I will have to look for work.

Any tips would be great, even if its just to browse through at the moment.

There is nothing stopping you trying, but just don't get upset if you don't hear back from a lot of companies as a lot wont consider you until you are in the country.


When we returned to the UK, I had my interview via Skype and secured a job before returning.
