Does anyone know if there are many jobs around in the motor trade.Thinking of sunshine coast/gold coast areas?
That`s if we can get through the TRA!!!

Kieth, possibly best to try the Motor Trades Association of Queensland, which has over 2500 member businesses. They might be able to advise you on current requirements and positions within the industry.

Another avenue would be to contact employment agencies such as Seek.com (industrial) or Drake Industrial.

Hi Keith. we are in the motor trade on the gold coast, what area are you looking at sales service parts or admin.we have been left the uk 31 years and we have always been in the motor trade, we presently work at the local ford dealership, so if we can help in anyway send me a pm. where abouts in the uk are you regards annie.

Hi annie, thanks for your reply.I am currently running my own business in Worcestershire as a mechanic and also body work.I have been in this trade for 20yrs.
My family and I are coming out in Dec for a month to suss areas,jobs and homes out mainly around gold coast/sunshine coast areas.We are staying in Coolangatta with family.
What area are you in?

Hi Keith. We live at Burleigh Waters which is about 10 mins from Coolangatta so when you get nearer the time i will send you our phone number and we can get together and have a chat, my husband john will be able to answer a lot of questions for you i am sure, so keep in touch, regards Annie.ps looks as though it is going to be a long hot summer so dont bring to many heavy clothes.
