Default jobs / Locations

Hello there.
I am an electrical engineer working on generation equipment in the UK.Could anyone tell me the best locations for this kind of work. Am also confused on the Perth / Brisbane debate. Is Brisbane really unbearable due to the humidity? Some people seem to think it is and others say it is not that bad and anyway it is only really humid for 2 months of the year. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Darren

Perth is less humid in summer than Brisbane but similar temperatures temps, both will go over 35 but over 40 is usually limited to the odd week. Winter - Brisbane has the advantage of being warmer and dryer, Perth gets a lot lower temps like this morning 3c, last winter in Perth was quite wet too. This winter much of Australia is very dry, drought type conditions you can see the brown undergrowth already we will pay for with bushfires as soon as it hots us

Humidity in Brisbane would be Dec to March but will also include Nov if we get a lot of rain.

Cant help you with jobs but sure somebody else will.

Given that both are pretty hot in Summer, I'm ignoring the weather debate, and basing it on employment opportunities, vicinity to elsewhere etc.

I suspect with your line of work you'd be able to get a job in most large cities/ towns, although nothing's guarenteed.

Paul.

Jobs wise Perth could be quite good for you 'cos of all the mining and oil/gas companies that are located here.
