Compare to UK - London boomed first and highest then went flat first, too. The grim north was still booming 2 years after London stopped climbing.
Brisbane looks to have carried on booming well after Sydney (and Canberra, for that matter) went flat but Brissie now seems to be paying the price for a bit of over-exuberance.

Even in two adjoining Postcodes in this area, one has dropped and one has gone up, but the average has stayed level
