Default Jobs for a couple who want to work together?

Hiya Guys n Gals

We are moving to the Sunshine Coast - Jan 18th

Me (36) and my man (51) currently work together and it works very well. We were wondering what jobs in Aus were available that would allow us to continue to work together? We have thought about the obvious ones like running a pub or restaurant but do not want to work the long hours.

In our 'dreamy' ideal world we would like to work longs hours for short bursts and would be happy to work weekends, allowing us more spare time to do the more important things like fishing and swimming

We have to kids so are flexible to consider anything.

Any ideas?

Hmmm... considered hardcore porn? :scared: Only joshing with you. Hmmm, might help folks if you indicated what sort of experience you have. I've spent the last eight years working with my missus (design stuff) and I can't bloody wait to get a full-time job in Oz!!!

I've seen quite a few ads in the paper recently looking couples willing to work as caretakers in caravan parks... one half looks after maintenance, while the other looks after the office (accomodation usually included). Doesn't sound too bad to me!

My man was a detective for 30 yrs, retired as a DCI. Now works as a civie doing Quality Assurance work. He has an MBA.

I have worked in a Building Society, been a croupier, worked in HR, and Public Relations for the police. I have worked part-time when I was a student as a carer, playworker (7-11 yr olds), pub work, cafeteria, telephone counsellor and field market researcher. I have a degree and MA.

Basically we have lots of skills and will be prepared to do anything. Are there such jobs as 'event stewarding' or 'promotional work'?
