I am getting the ball rolling to emigrate to Australia with my wife and two children. I am wondering if anyone knows of any IT companies who carry out forensic investigation work using Encase as I would like to carry this skill on when we get there. We are looking at either NSW or VIC areas depending on jobs.
Any advice or contact details would be great as it seems hard to find any details just searching the web. IT company details in general would be great also as I have other skills including anti virus.

Thanks for the link but all it lists is general articles relating to Encase. I'm after some info regarding companies who I can contact with a view to getting a job.

What i did was to write a short letter, save it on the hard drive,then searched the yellow pages for all companies applicable and e-mailed them my letter.
I don't know if this will help in your case but i got some promising replies and some valuable information ( qualifications required etc ).

Cheers I'll give it a try. The only problem with computer forensics is whenever you do a search for it you get mostly forensic science hits Anything is worth a try though.
