Default Job search

Having now made my mind up to go I am looking to find out as much as possible about finding a job, ideally before we go, can anyone give me some information on where to go for this, are there Aussie agencies etc that can help.
Are there Aussie newspapers advertising jobs for management positions

best site I've found for management jobs is either tmp worldwide (Monster) or michael page. Both can set up alerts to give you an idea of what's out there in the area you want to go. Most jobs are Sydney and Melbourne (depending whether you specialise in a particular area of management.)

Links here:
http://www.michaelpage.com.au/contro...ubsectionid=78

http://au.tmp.com/

Unlikely to be able to set up job in such and unspecialised area before you get visa. They are just not interested. Much better off if you have a trade.

Let us know what management area and might be able to be more specific.
Cheers

You need to find out where the major sorting offices are, probably be one per state due to the size of the country and apply to them, you might get in if you have something they specifically require in your resume, like change management or process improvement, best practice etc...

Otherwise you'll probably be able to apply those skills to any warehouse/distribution operation, involving logistics, transport, local delivery etc and again due to the long distances most of the cities have huge depots.

You may need to think about the skills you have and how they can be applied within other sectors such as retail, wholesale, manufacturing, mining, defence and so on...

Good luck and feel free to contact me if you want help. I'm a supply chain senior manager....nice and vague and can apply to anything!!
