Hello,

We are moving to Perth soon and were wondering what kind of jobs were in abundance? I am coming on a WHV and am a journalist in the UK, but I am prepared to take any temping/office work that is available - is there a lot of this in Perth??

There is lots of work in Perth, especially temping/office work. I just started with the agency Gel-Group (http://www1.gelgroup.com.au/index2.asp). They have contracts with the Government and pay better then other agencies.

Executive recruitment firm, city centre locale. Depending on when you get here you may even be able to take on her lease, apartment just outside of the city in Northbridge, if you aren't sorted already that is..When do you get here?

No, i am a permanent resident. But I think a few people in the department I am working for are on WHV visa.
It took me two weeks to get the job but only because I couldn't start earlier. I had the interview on Monday and started the next day.
