I have been offered a job based in the Eastern Suburbs (around Bellevue). The offer is only 90k which is a cut from my current pay. I am worried that I wouldn't be able to find a nice 3 bed place to live in that area (wife and 2 small children) on such a salary. Can you please advise?

Very nervous about committing as we would be moving for lifestyle and would hate to be scrimping to get by.

I suppose it all comes down to what you want to get out of life.

I got sponsored and took a large pay cut to get into Australia. Three years on I've moved up within the company and doubled my salary from original starting salary, which means I'm now earning more than I was in the UK.

If your good at what you do then I'm sure you'll succeed and most likely end up better off then you currently are.

Life is full of risk, but the choice is what we do about it.
