Hi!
They have just completed a huge recruitment drive in Brisbane, through (I think..) Hayes Recruitment. They probably do the same in all cities.
J.
Edit, it could be IPA recruitment :-)

You have to be a citizen to apply for (most) jobs with the Australian Government.

It was my dream job too.......... but I'm glad they knocked me back otherwise i wouldn't be in my current dream job

Had several interviews down at Fremantle............. thought I had cracked it but it wasn't to be. They really are very picky.

Sick as a parrot at the time........ but not any more.

Every so often they hold exams for about 8,000 people in each capital city; for entry into government circles (usually advertised in Saturday's Western Australian). I took the exam at Perth central TAFE along with 999 others on that day......... a few weeks later I got an invite to attend a customs interview.

A few weeks after getting knocked back for the Customs job; I had a series of other interviews to be a screw in the nick......... didn't get that either

Based on how long it took to process our shipment there must be endless vacancies.

It took less time to get from uk to brisbane than it did getting from Brisbane to the Sunshine coast.:curse:

Closest I ever heard of, was someone that got through two interviews, and failed a psychological test. Something along the lines of responding to everyday statements with a choice of two answers. The Girl I'm talking about passed a police exam though.
