Default Japan Police Check

Hi All

Not too sure how long it takes for a UK police check, but for anybody else who's in the same boat, my partner has just been informed that it will take a minimum of 2 months for her Japan police check.

Bit of pain, as she has to either travel to London or Edinburgh to put in the application in person. Living in the Midlands, it didn't really matter where she went, but at least she was planning on going to Edinburgh next week.

We were told the same thing, but if it is done in Japan, it takes 10 days.
The Japanese Embassy must be a bit slow off the mark?
