hi I am applying with my spouse from the US under skilled independent. My spouse
is my dependent. I have been in the US for 11 years. My spouse however has lived
in india until nov 30 2001. Before she let india she did get a police clearance
certificate from there. Now when ADelaide request police and medicals from us. Do
i need to send a new one from india or will the one she has dated nov 30 2001 do.
the reason i ask is because to get a police certificate it takes 30 to 40 days
and if they give u only 49 days to reply thats may be cutting it too close.

Police reports have a 12-month validity (as do medicals) so if your visas are granted
before the end of November 2002, and so long as you are also intending to pass
through immigration clearance in Australia before the end of November 2002 you
shouldn't worry.
