We have got our visa

I check every hour, ever day, yes I do know that Australia is 11 hours different, but you never know who might be working overtime

Checked at 10.30PM tonight, before bed and there it is "Applicant Approved", Melbourne here we come.

CONGRATULATIONS
It made me laugh cos we would check our emails constantly....ours arrived at 4.30 in the morning on the 22nd Nov 2005, daughter (15 at the time) had just got up for a drink and checked the in box on her way back to bed, I had only checked 15 mins before
We didn't go back to bed we booked our flights for 5th Dec 2005 then had to go to work/school for the rest of the day before breaking the news to all of our family in the evening....What a Day

It is the BEST feeling!!!

What do you mean "get some grog down your neck" I would but the wife is drinking it as though it is pop!!!! She has just done a bottle of wine as though it is milk!

Glad we are not the only ones obsessed, we have rung family already, perhaps not the news they wanted to hear, but great news for us. If you have been there since 2005 it can't be all that bad

We were definately obsessed, I should imagine a lot of people do the same
I think a lot of our family were in denial and it came as a bit of a shock when we actually got the visa. We didn't give them much time to worry about it though, we left 2 weeks after the visa grant!!!
We are in Adelaide and LOVE IT

What is wrong with liking wine - just getting in practice for the Aussie BBQ's - Can't wait. Am likely to have a bad head in the morning as it is going down TOO easy, think Jason might be doing the school run

I know a couple of people from Adelaide, not just from on here in and they love it too. Jason will go in March for his job, I will sell the house and then follow with the children - Can't wait !
