Its 2 weeks and 4 days.....
until we leave.
When did it stop being maybe we will go, we got the visa- we will go. We go in 6 months, 4 months, a few weeks etc etc

Lucky you ! you must be so excited, still another 8 monthes before we go ( if we get our visas ) just hope the time flies as it has for you ! Good luck with your new life! keep us posted.

We're about a week behind you mate (3 weeks and a couple of days). tottaly agree it only seems about a week ago that it was months away :scared: . it takes for ever to get to this point and then the time just flies.
getting rid of all our rubbish (final car boot sale on sunday) but I,m sure somebody else fills our house with more tat the minute our backs are turned its never ending. made a promise to only buy what we NEED when we set up in Oz!!!!
anyway got the big party to look forward to at the end of April
best of luck to everybody what ever stage of the migration process / setling in Oz / been there for ages process you are at.

There should be a warning on the visa application - this might happen! You might actually have to leave the country! It's scary, exciting stuff, init?!

finally left work yesterday. I work in A&E and my mates tied me to a wheelchair, put plaster of paris all over me, with a note pinned to my chest"convict, getting deported to OZ" and left me in the waiting room.
