Isn't it ironic
This time last year people were waiting years for their visas to come through, but:
Houses were selling fast and at premium prices;
The exchange rate was super high;
Houses in Oz were slightly cheaper.
One year along:
Visas are shooting out of DIMIA faster than you can send them in, but;
Houses are taking months to sell and buyers keep falling through at the last minute;
House prices are falling and you will never hear 'full asking price offered';
The exchange rate has fallen way down;
Houses have increased in price in Aus.
You can't win!
You either wait yonks for the visa or get it quickly and lose out by going at a bad economic time!!
Just pondering the irony of it all.
