Without wanting to drag this off into a pro or bash Logan thread, I lived in Logan for 12 years until 2 years ago, still owned a house there until 12 months ago, in one of the better areas. If you read my posts, I have always said there are good areas of Logan (up behind Springwood etc $mill+ houses) all mainly east of the freeway, but that doesnt make west of the highway any better. Andrew, I have said before as well, Tanah Merah is one of the better parts, despite it being west of the freeway.

When I talk about Logan being bad, Im talking about overall, if you like your area, & are happy there then thats great. Im not runnng down your choice, but hell, I lived there, Ive seen the hoons, the needles in parks, the teenagers terrorising locals, squatters, break & enters, the drunken fights at the pub, cars stolen etc.

No offence to anyone, but once again, as a local who has lived in Brisbane all her life & lived in Logan City until recently, I cant honestly & blythly tell people that Logan City is great, cos IMO, its not.

Sorry.

PS. this reminds me why I stopped posting about good/bad suburbs, because people get offended.
