IOM Flights

Can anybody tell me if booking your flights through IOM is any cheaper than booking it yourself through a travel agent.

Who has used them and how did it work out for you?

Hiya

I emailed IOM when I got my visa granted..............6 weeks later they replied!!!

You have to give them your dates etc and they book your flightys for you, probs need to pay up front too, I didnt think that was the ideal situation as I wanted to be able to pick and chose my own flight times and airline. Most airlines offer you extra baggage when you emigrate, and if you search around you will probably get as good as if not cheaper than IOM

Hope this helps

Nick, try Austravel in Old Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, friends flew with them last October to Brisbane, 2 adults, 2 kids, with three night stopover in Singapore cost £1800! that's who we'll talk to first!

I got a quote from Austravel in Bournemouth today already.

Flights to brisbane with a two day stopover in Malaysia for two Adults and three children was £2100, Thailand £2340 and Auckland via LA was £2335. That's without any Hotel costs in any of these quotes.

We have already stayed in Singapore a couple of years ago which was very nice so would like to try somewhere else.

I agree with biggy I would like to choose my package especially the flight times. I didn't realise that you had to pay before they found your flights!! Sounds a bit dodgy to me!

Is there anybody that has used them on the forum?
