invite for those new poms to the gold coast..........
hi there, i have noticed a few people recently moved or moving into the gold coast and each of you have started new threads re meeting people so as i have been here a while (3 years), i thought it might be nice, helpful to arrange a casual meet up in the day so we can all have a chat casually, help, etc. i work from home so can meet in the day if anyone fancies that let me know??????
(i live in robina which is pretty central in the gold coast so was thinking of a cafe i know nearby.)

ok, i have had a few people sending me pms, so what i think is best to do is make a date and go from there, if you can let me know if you are gonna come along i can let the venue know numbers for a table, thanks

Hi, myself and my hubbie would love to come along, we have been on the gold coast for 6 months and although we find everyone so friendly we do still miss people with that typical british sense of humour. We might be a little older than friends you would like to meet however we are pretty easy going and would love to get out for a couple of drinks and meet like people who are also new to the gold coast. I am 44 and just meet the age limit for a nursing visa, we have 2 children aged 11 and 12.

hi guys, yes all set for today at 12, table booked for 10 people so if you fancy coming along please do...................i have been informed there are 2 other groups meeting there too, one being a tennis group so we will be the ones not carrying tennis rackets i guess!!! lol, see you all later!!!!
