Default Interviews via a Agency?

Hi all

Not jumping the gun,but wifey had a call today from a agency today to say that The Royal childrens hossy in parksville has job vacancies!

So she has arranged a interview for tomorrow morning, which seems a tad surreal!

Wifey told her that we want to get into aus end of the year and that we are in the process of trying to gain visas.

Any way just a few questions please

1.Do the agencys just get a fee out off the hossy for findign a employee?
2.Are workers wages/job any different if applied for directly?
3 We are in the process of trying to gain out state/pr visa(paid for 1 month a go now) so do they wait or do they try and get you over on the "457" temp visa?
Because we wont leave these shores for a visa that could lapse within 28 days in some thing unforeseen happened. And also miss out on medicare and the likes

Many thanks jase
