Default INTERVIEWS ON COST OF LIVING/HOUSES ETC

The cost of living, groceries, petrol, house prices and so on in Australia.

There have been a number of posts/forums on here about the costs of living in Australia and, in particular, the cost of housing and everyday items such as groceries, petrol and so on.

There are some interesting videos/interviews on this site:

http://www.2gb.com/index.php?option=...id=1&Itemid=44

they are on the website of Alan Jones (a prominent Australian radio host). In particular you may want to watch:

1) The interview with the Federal Opposition Leader (Kevin Rudd) about the cost of living and how it got to be that things are so expensive in Australia; and

2) The videos on the 'housing crisis' which makes for interesting viewing and gives a different perspective to the often said comment that houses are unaffordable ….it seems that the evidence would suggest otherwise.....

Just thought some people might find it interesting and that this may create some interesting discussion....

Regards,

Andy

Yes I am a pirate, 200 years too late,
cannons don't thunder,
there is nothing to plunder,
I'm an under 40 victim of fate - just arrived too late
