Which internet provider actually works as promised?
I have 9 days until my optus wireless internet service 30 day trial runs out. Having seemingly fixed the constant problem of it losing connection on a regular basis (fingers crossed), it is now so slow that it is like using dial up again:curse:
Can anyone recommend an internet provider that can offer wireless internet at a decent speed before I go mad. I live in Coolum beach, and like the sound of ADSL2 but don't think it is an option here. I need to change but don't know if anyone else would be any better.
Any help would be appreciated

We went with TPG http://www.tpg.com.au/
you can type in your phone nbr to check if you get ADSL2. They also do ADSL, but it costs more !
You can check out coverage http://www.tpg.com.au/maps/
and somewhere else see what the rollout is if you don't have it yet (but I guess you don't want to wait)

Thanks for the advice guys, I will check those out. Definitely going to cancel the optus as it is useless where I am.
