Does anyone know if there are any ISP who offer unlimited download quota products ?
I have been searching in many websites and all the services are limited to 10gb max per month.

How much porn can you download in a month? It's a running joke at work (an ISP) that there is no other use for the 'net ;) They don't limit you to that, they just charge you extra, usually per Mbyte. Seriously that's a LOT of data, once the initial thrill of broadband wears off it just becomes high-speed, always on access as opposed to download, download, download. If you peer-to-peer, watch out, we get lots of complaints from copyright holders demanding we shut down customers for making copyright stuff available. I'm worried that when I move I'll not be in a DSL area and moving back to 56K is going to hurt:mad:

It's actually pretty easy to get screwed by the excess data charges if you're not careful. Especially if you play online games (Quake etc). Alternatives are just starting to arrive on the scene - I reckon that in 1-2 years there will be no more excess data charges due to this competition. Thank god!

Some suggestions...

Highly recommended (I use them myself): Internode who offer some flatrate plans (flatrate here means no excess data charges although once you go over a certain limit performance may go down). In my experieince Internode is very reliable.

There are also a bunch of ISPs just starting to offer unlimited ADSL plans. See this Whirlpool news story for more.

Personal rant: Broadband is pretty crap if you have to worry about how much data you're using. Australian ISPs should be ashamed of this, but they all just tend to blame Telstra, politics or whatever. Or they point the finger at the cost of "pipes to the US" even though there are plenty of countries in sourtheast asia where unlimited broadband is standard. Hopefully this situation will change soon!

P.S. If you're asking about broadband in NZ you're screwed even more. :)

They all have download limits here. But some charge for extra downloads per megabyte but others don't charge extra just slow the connection when the limit is reached.

Iinet give you something called Blink time which is midnight to 7am which means that if you are on a 6GB plan you can have an extra 6GB during Blink time.
