Default International Voltage and Hair Products

Hey, my straighteners and hair dryer aren't "international voltage"- thats quite broad. Does this mean it will only work in the UK or can it be used elsewhere with similar voltage? Does Australia have the same or similar voltage? (Would be great if someone could let me know- and if they work in the US aswell, going to NY soon).

Also, does Australia have TRESemmé hair products? (Shampoo, Conditioner and Heat Protectant Spray) and if anyone knew of any prices, that would be great.

Thanks

Yep, you can get the full range of TRESemmé products in Oz supermarkets, same as UK. The full price in Coles for the shampoo or conditioner is about $11 for the big bottle but they usually have it on special about once a month and it does down to about $7 or a buy one get one free.

My UK hairdryer and ghds didn't work in the US but they do in Oz.

UK and Australia have very similar voltages (230/240v) etc, so UK things work in Australia irrespective of other "international" voltages.
