Internal Flights to Adelaide

Hi Ladies & gents

Does anyone have any knowledge re flights to Adelaide or Sydney for that matter, whether it is cheaper to book a direct flight to either of those cities from the UK and then purchase a flight internally to Adelaide or would it be cheaper buying the whole flight journry from the UK,also does anyone know the flying time from Sydney to Adelaide?????

Thanks Tez

Re: Internal Flights to Adelaide

Always flown via Singapore or Kuala lumpar, then to Melbourne then To adelaide (1 hour from Mel to Adelaide) I think Adelaide now get direct flights from Kuala Lumpar with Malaysia - saves about 3 hours on the overall journey.

Sydney to adelaide would be 2.5/3 hours at a guess plus changeover time...

Hope to see you there soon..

Sydney to Adelaide is about 1hr 40 mins if I recall.
It's usually cheaper to get these flights included as part of your
long-haul deal if you're coming direct to Australia.

Yeah Virgin are cheap until you look at the fine print. Baggage allowance is only 20kgs then they charge you unreal fees for anything extra. 45kgs and they'll charge you an extra $120! So your $90 flight (1 way Syndey to Brisbane) is now $220!

Qantas have a bag limit of 32kg's plus they only charge and extra $11 per suitcase. Same flight as above is about $125 with the excess baggage.
