I work for an Insurance Company that sells policies to brokers if that's any use. Why do you ask?

I was just wondering what technology the brokers use to obtain a quote?

Back in the UK Mysis, CDL etc have the market sewn up for broker software. Do Aussie brokers get out guides and manually work out a quote or do they type it into a system and a panel of insurers (underwriters) are returned?
